With October upon us, it’s time to get excited about new movies. This month offers a diverse range of genres, from re-releases of classics like “Saw” to sequels of fan favorites like “Venom” and “The Joker.” The theaters are sure to be packed with good times.
A horror franchise returning to theaters is “Smile,” with its sequel, “Smile 2.” As global pop sensation Skye Riley embarks on her international tour, she experiences eerie events that overwhelm her with both fame and horror, forcing her to confront her past. “Smile 2” will be released on Oct. 18 and is sure to be a good time.
Another franchise coming to an end this October is “Venom” with “Venom: The Last Dance.” As the final installment of the trilogy, it’s sure to end with a bang. With their worlds on the hunt for them, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and Venom are forced into a dire decision that will bring an end to their final act. “Venom: The Last Dance” hits theaters on Oct. 24 and promises to be an action-packed experience.
An intriguing movie hitting theaters this October is “Daddy’s Head.” The story follows a boy and his widowed stepmother, who begin to fear for their lives when a mimic resembling the boy’s deceased father starts to appear. This horror movie is sure to be full of suspense and scares. “Daddy’s Head” will be in theaters on Oct. 11.
