It’s the day after Homecoming, but it’s time to move on! Girls are frantically making posters and dropping them off. I walk into Days Market and they’re sold out of poster boards! This is serious, if I don’t ask tonight I may not go at all! After all, Sadies is only 26 days away! My parents are saying, “You’re already asking to Sadies? Homecoming was less than 24 hours ago!” They just don’t understand. You have to ask as soon as possible, or else you don’t go.

It’s only 5:00 pm and all the boys I wanted to ask are gone. My mom tells me I should go with that one boy in my ward. I get the typical “he’s a cute kid!” from her. But I just don’t see it. Maybe I’ll even have to ask my cousin if he can do me a favor and pretend to be my date. No one would suspect anything right? All I know is I have to make this happen.

Now that I’m thinking about it, I should’ve asked to Sadies weeks ago! What was I thinking, waiting till Homecoming is over? Such a dumb decision. At this point I think it’s over for me. There’s no good options, maybe it’s better to stay home. Well, that is it. There’s no one to ask. I guess I’ll just start making my poster for Morp, maybe then I’ll score the date of my dreams.
