Timpview Theater, currently under new management, is excited to start a new season strong! Kennedy Napierski, the fabulous director and Drama teacher, is happy to announce “Seussical” as the fall musical! However, that’s not all she’s excited about.
Napierski secretly reached out to Dance Company coach, Tera Taylor. Napierski was able to obtain five willing dancers to perform alongside the hardworking, and incredibly talented cast.
The word has gotten out that the girls chosen will be dancing en pointe, after lots of consideration at after school rehearsals, and over text, and will also be wearing costumes embedded with twinkle lights. There is the possibility of dancing with aerial silks, twirling ten feet above the stage! Because of safety concerns and issues, the decision concerning the silks awaits the approval of the school board.
These new additions mean other ideas are open to discussion. Ones that have the potential to amaze the audience. Just think of it. Working water features, a ball pit, audience interaction, the possibilities are endless!
Sadly, this journey isn’t picture perfect. One of the dancers had to step down due to an injury. This raises several questions such as if the group will be able to recover, or if the dancer is able to heal in time for the show.
Come and see what happens at the show from November 14th through the 19th!
