Timpview Girls Volleyball has been successful this season, but this week they decided to take it up a notch and do something special. To help the fight against breast cancer, the team wore pink jerseys for breast cancer awareness month. Along with this display of support, they hung posters they made as a team, wore pink ribbon in their hair, wore pink and formal clothes to school, and the girls even tie-dyed their socks pink. All of these efforts were to support each person affected by breast cancer.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) is celebrated every October to raise awareness about breast cancer and promote early detection, screening, and treatment. The month is known for its pink theme color, and people often wear pink ribbons to show their support. If this is something you or someone you know fights against, T-Birds are here to fight with you!
