Calling all seniors! Timpview has a new, amazing resource for college prep. Sarah Jacobs, a Timpview Alumni, is welcome and ready to answer any questions, share tips and tricks, and give specific advice about college. She is in the same room as Cinda Morgan, room N 206.
Jacobs just graduated from BYU with a bachelors degree, and is applying to graduate programs for social work. Her role is “specifically helping seniors with any post-high school plans”. Jacobs explains that she helps with college, but is also able to assist with any education or future plans. This even means planning a gap year, comparing universities and other institutions, and seeing what’s a good fit. If you need advice, scholarship help, or applying for the FAFSA, both Cinda Morgan and Sarah Jacobs can help you with that.
“College is overwhelming, and I understand,” Jacobs says. There are so many questions that go unanswered about what life looks like after graduation. Stress and anxiety can come with those unanswered questions, and being able to have a resource that has all those answers and can help paint a picture of what our future can look like, is so beneficial. Sarah Jacobs has been trained to listen and help out with the uncertainties that seniors have. Whether you have a small or big question, Jacobs can help you navigate through the unknown. She is in her office Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm. Jacobs invites anyone to walk into her office (room), or you can make an appointment through this QR code or Google Form link.
