Friday November, 22, Kendrick Lamar surprised the world with the drop of his unexpected album titled GNX. There are a couple big name artists features such as SZA and Roddy Ricch, and the rest being more underground artists such as: Dody6, Lefty Gunplay, Wallie the Sensei, Siete7x, Roddy Ricch, AzChike, Hitta J3, YoungThreat, and Peysoh. No one expected a full length project from K-Dot after he released several diss tracks on Drake.
Kendrick Lamar has always been near the top of the list for best rappers of all time. In this album he makes his case on why he feels he should be #1. In song “man at the garden” he states “Everything Heaven allowed us; I deserve it all”. Throughout the album he has some of the most unique beats and beats that are different from anything anyone has used before in his past music. This is some of the best production we have heard as far as his albums go. Mustard who is a three time grammy nominated producer, produced the second most played song “tv off”. There are a couple other producers on this album but overall this is one of the best albums in Kendrick’s discography as far as production goes.

This album shows that Kendrick is far from done with his career and further solidifies why he deserves a spot at the top.
