It’s Christmastime! Christmas is a wonderful time for a lot of reasons, you get to spend time with family, get a break from school, get to play in the snow, but another awesome thing that comes with Christmas for most people is presents! I think we would all be lying if we said we were not excited for the presents that come with Christmas. This year, Timpview students were interviewed on what they wanted most for Christmas.
#5: At number five, students said skiing gear. This category includes ski jackets, boots, goggles, passes, etc. Timpview senior Jill Freedman had this to say about her pick,”I really want new ski gear cause there are a lot of cute ski guys in Provo and I want to look good for them.”
#4: For number four, it was mobile products. A lot of Timpview students wanted a new phone or Apple watch. The Apple watch can track your physical activity. Since students are on their phones for half of the day, this seemed correct. Most mobile products are expensive, so it makes sense that it made it on this list.
#3: At the third spot, it was headphones. Headphones go hand and hand with mobile devices. This included Airpods, Apple headphones, Sony’s, Beats, and many other types of headphones. With the ability to listen to music all the time in private makes this a perfect fit for teenagers.
#2: In second place, the answer was shoes. Since shoes need to be worn everyday, this was expected. Senior Zack Russ said that “shoes are an easy way to spice up your outfit and look nice.” Many students agreed with this statement, which explains why it was so high on the list. Shoes can also be more on the expensive side, which further explains its high placement on this list.
#1: The most wanted gift for Christmas was clothes. Clothing items dominated this list with over half of the votes. Every teenager loves clothes because it’s a way to express someone’s style and personality. With many different personalities here at Timpview we can see lots of different styles and that is something to be proud of.
This wraps up the most wanted items for Christmas!
