The Grammys are a haven of culture, music, and of course—fashion. The 2025 Grammys set a high standard for celebrity events for the rest of this year, with some great statement pieces and bold attire. Although there were some questionable looks, here are some of our favorite celebrity outfits.
Meadow Stewart:
Chappell Roan: Chappell Roan, the star who rapidly rose to fame, styled a vintage couture gown with a print of Edgar Degas’s ballerinas on the skirt. The regal, ballet-themed dress stood out among the boring black dresses that many wore. Along with her signature “drag” makeup, over-the-top hair, and extreme accessories, Chappell stole the show. With the biggest skirt of the whole night, almost no one compared to her.
Jaden Smith: Many may disagree with this, but Jaden’s outfit was one of the most iconic of the night as Smith wore an entire castle on his head. This is something that no one has seen, and it stood out in the sea of black tuxedos. The Vampire Castle was designed by a Transylvanian fashion house called ABODI, and it was seemingly pricy. But, Jaden’s outfit stood out for its impressive and grand accessory. While some will disagree, I find this much preferable to some of the boring looks that others wore.
Evealla Banya:
Troye Sivan: Sivan chose to compliment his fair skin tone and bright blue eyes with a light lavender look by Prada. Styled by Marc Forne, I thought his look was a breath of fresh air, crafted with silks and a simple draped scarf, complimented by an ethereal diamond brooch. He was inspired by a dress worn by Uma Thurman, made from a similar purple fabric. All of his most recent red carpet looks express his authentic self, which he says is “making up for lost time for my younger self”. This look epitomizes his music style and personality while maintaining chic, simple styling.
Heidi Klum: Heidi Klum shined on the red carpet in a gown designed by Lebanese couture designer Nicolas Jebran. Her dress stood out to me because of the intricate detailing throughout the dress. Although Heidi’s outfit wasn’t divinely inspired, the elegant crystal contouring made it memorable. From the runway to the carpet, Heidi Klum knows how to put on a show.
Bella Fillmore:
Billie Eilish: Though she left the evening without any awards–a highly controversial topic following the event–Billie Eilish was one of the most impactful artists in attendance, and her outfit showed it! The epitome of classic meeting contemporary fashion, she was dressed by Prada in a three-piece ensemble. Wearing deep navy slacks, embellished with a silver chain, and a black jacket atop an untucked white button-up, Eilish appeared completely composed on the red carpet. Her black sailor hat and black-tinted glasses added a hint of personal style to the overall look.
Cynthia Erivo: Cynthia Erivo, currently most recognized for her role as Elphaba in Disney’s Wicked (2024), played to her strengths with her outfit. Dressed by Louis Vuitton, she wore a metallic silver mock-neck top underneath a floor-length steel blue dress; an open panel allowed the silver to shine through, just like her charismatic personality! Utilizing her various piercings, as well as her acrylic nails, to bring the look together, the actress and singer let the outfit speak for itself.
Most Questionable Outfit:
Jacob Collier: If anyone remembers the reversible sequined tops and throw pillows from the 2010s, Collier brought the trend back in style! His three piece suit was a cacophony of bright colors–the vibrance at odds with his sleek black Doc. Martens combat boots. He styled a baby blue heart-shaped pin with his indigo button up shirt, and his daring-gelled-in-the-vertical-plane hairstyle brought it all together!
Our Favorite Look:
Clairo: Hands down, the best outfit of the night was worn by Clairo. Otherwise known as Claire Cottrill, the pop-alternative icon wore a corset gown that was designed by Claire Sullivan. The dress featured black and white polka dots on the corset and parts of the skirt, and everything else was an off-white. There were buttons, ruffles, sleeves, lace, a collar, and a shape to die for. Everything about this look was iconic, right down to her chain mail hand bag. We were blown away by Clairo’s look, and although she walked away without an award, she out-shone everyone on the carpet.
Honorable Mentions: Of course, we could leave without some honorable mentions. We think that Sabrina Carpenter, Miley Cyrus, John Legend, Cardi B, and Shakira also stood out with their outfits too.
Worst Dressed: Bianca Censori.
