After what felt like the shortest two and a half months of our lives, school is back in session, and I already have homework. That’s right: Friday night lights are back, fall sports are in full swing, and dance posters are taking over porches. The first week of school has felt like five months, but before we know it, we will be saying goodbye to the seniors. Here is everything you need to know to start the new 2025-26 school year:
What’s new at Timpview this year?
- Students, make sure to be on time and have good attendance because a new policy has been passed that our attendance will be worth 10% of our grade! However, it depends on what your teacher decides to do for your class.
- Timpview will now have all doors on campus locked at all times. Make sure to be on time to get into the school will ease and avoid a long walk. If you make it to school during a non-passing period, go to the front doors to be buzzed in. This allows us to be safe at all times during school hours.
- Now we all know and love the new phone policy that was put into place last school year… but it has now become a law in the state of Utah. Teachers are now required to take your phone when they see it! The school will be cracking down on the phone policy, so make sure to keep it put away.
