Timpview’s homecoming was on Saturday, September 13th, from 8 -10 pm. For the first dance of the year, there was a huge turnout.
While homecoming has traditionally taken place on the football field, this year, it was in the commons. The walls were decorated with spiderwebs, there were cute photo-booths, and the stairs up to the library had various blow-up Spiderman figures and buildings, resembling a mini New York City. The downside of having the dance inside was the lack of AC. The amount of students packed into the commons gave the whole room a muggy, sweaty feel.
DJ’s can make or break the mood of a dance. The homecoming DJ did not disappoint, playing songs that everyone loved. The only complaint was that the slow songs were played at the start of the night, whereas most of the couples arrive later in the evening.
Overall, homecoming was an amazing evening. The effort put in by Student Government and others was apparent, and we want to thank them for making the night possible!
