Last week- Monday, Sept. 8- the remains of a dead body were found in famous singer David Anthony Burke’s, better known as D4vd’s, impounded Tesla. After the car was found abandoned on a Hollywood street, it sat in the Hollywood Tow impound lot for two days when LAPD officers responded to a call reporting a foul odor coming from the vehicle.
The LA County Medical Examiner’s office identified the body as 15 year old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The Riverside Sheriff’s Department confirmed that Hernandez was reported missing from Lake Elsinore last year. She was last seen leaving her house on April 5th, 2024 at 9:00 pm.
Despite the story breaking last week on Monday morning, D4vd went on to perform at the Fillmore in Minneapolis on Tuesday evening. A viral video posted on social media showed D4vd giving away popular Labubu toys to the crowd, merely hours after news of the incident broke.
