Is it just me or was Homecoming only like two weeks ago? Maybe I’m a hypocrite because last week a bunch of my girlfriends and I drove around Provo dropping off our posters after being made aware of how early everyone was asking.

Well it seems that everyone was getting a jump on things because information is already out for our annual ‘girls ask’ Halloween dance.

Our Sadie’s theme this year is Coco, the Disney movie, though it’s been specified that the theme is only for the decorations. As far as dress goes, Halloween costumes are encouraged. Costumes must adhere to the school dress code, with no undergarments showing and nothing lewd, violent, illegal, or threatening presented on the outfit. Masks will also not be permitted at the dance.

I’m just going to say this now, you’re not too cool for a costume, you’re cringe for not wearing one.

The dance will be on Saturday, November 1st from 8-10 pm in Timpview’s South Gym.

Tickets will be $10 per person and they will go on sale October 27th. As always, you will need to be in the green or yellow attendance to purchase tickets and will need to bring your student ID, your tickets and your receipt to the dance.

So ladies, let’s not be shy. Go for that guy you’ve had your eye on, the one you’ve been talking to for a few months or that really good guy friend. Though if it’s that last one, I’d make sure they know where you stand so they don’t get their hopes up.

No matter if you go with a date, a big friend group or just stag, Sadie’s is going to be a great time and a fun way to keep the Halloween spirit going for an extra day!
