Timpview has the opportunity to join with Make-a-Wish to help Jessica’s dream of going to Disney World come true.

Jessica, age 5, was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 4 but is now in remission.

Jessica loves Disney princesses, especially Elena of Avalor, and wants to go to Disney World to meet them.  Funds raised will allow Jessica to go to Disney World and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios.

Allison Cook, NHS president, has worked hard to bring this project to Timpview.  

“I really wanted to give Timpview this opportunity to serve and have the student involvement and that rallying for a child,” said Cook.  “We have so many great fundraisers at Timpview, but this is one where you see the child’s face and you say I’m helping this little girl be able to do maybe one of her last wishes.  [I] heard all these stories where cities or huge groups of people rally for this one child who didn’t have long to live. It is so beneficial to the community and I really wanted that to happen for Timpview.”

To help Jessica, attend the benefit concert on March 23 at 7:00 and the run on March 29 at 6:30.  Donations will also be taken at lunch in the commons.
