Towards the end of 2019, flocks of people posted lists of what they thought was the best. The best music, the best movies, the best video games. A lot of ordinary people posted lists like this, but it takes an extraordinary man’s mix which to be reviewed here.
The former president’s playlist is peppered with plenty of rap, latin, and R&B, with a little bit of everything else. It features a diverse range, but most songs aren’t memorable. There’s only a few really enjoyable songs, and only one you could call a real “banger;” Lizzo’s Juice. Many other popular songs were featured, like Suge by DaBaby, and Old Town Road by Lil Nas X, but none compare to Lizzo’s masterpiece. While the argument could be made that Obama is trying to make his playlist more indie by adding lesser known artists, that argument can quickly be stripped away. He includes no music by legendary musicians Vampire Weekend and Angel Olsen, and it should be considered a hate crime that he didn’t involve FKA twigs.
Overall, it turns out to be a decent playlist, but nothing too memorable. Obama plays it safe, but ends up with a mediocre result.

Hey guys, it’s me, Tupac. I gotta say, mad respect to Obama, but he doesn’t listen to my music. For that reason alone, I shall delete his last name, and he shall forever be known as Obama

You know I really enjoyed your opinion on Lizzo’s Juice! She is such a beautiful woman and she deserves the Grammy she got.
