Bismarck Donuts, a new Donut Shop located in Orem, is turning heads with their delicious donuts. They are most famous for the beignet (ben-yae). A fried pastry covered in either cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar.

The beignet was tasty, but I did not like how messy it was. The beignet was a 3.5 out of 5. I would say it was worth eating, but not something I’d make the visit the store in order to eat.

The Sweet n Salty donut was the top pick and my personal favorite. The combination of sweet cream, butter, and salt, made for a unique taste. I would give it a 4.5 out of 5. If you’re making the trip to Bismarck Donuts make sure you order one, and if you’re lucky, you’ll get it while it’s hot.

The last donut we ordered was Maple Ring. I didn’t personally enjoy it. The donut was really soft but it wasn’t very warm and didn’t have much flavor. I give it a 2.5 out of 5 and would skip this selection if you visit.

This spot was very unique. The interior was really modern and looked amazing. Bismarck donuts have a wide variety of donuts that are freshly made all day long.

They also serve coffee. Overall, I thought it was definitely worth a try but I don’t think I would end up going there again. The prices were a little out of the range for just two donuts and a beignet. It ended up being $11.75. It was a cool environment but the price for the quality is not worth it.
