DreamWorks Animations, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, is its third sequel movie that obtained heavy praise from critics and fans. By incorporating an innovative animation style, a unique protagonist with certain portrayals makes a movie that anyone of every age can love and enjoy. The Last Wish, was released on December 21, 2022, and made 555 million USD and counting in the Box Office.

Walking into the theater, I had no expectations for this movie. I would never have imagined a kid’s movie would keep me so entertained while keeping me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole film. DreamWorks perfected the way to keep an entire audience entertained in all aspects, whether those attributes will be the fun parts of the film that a kid’s movie needs or the serious intention of the film.

The film intends to come to terms with death; This follows up as an antagonist, a wolf who portrays death with the only purpose of killing Puss. In the movie, Puss uses eight out of his nine lives, which gives a certain suspense to the character and a genuine fear for Puss. The villain turns out to be a significant favorite in the movie even though the wolf only appears in a couple of scenes, making the climax even more suspenseful. From the start of the trilogies, you can begin to have a connection with Puss and his peers.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, excels on every level as a movie everyone can relate to and love. The innovative animation style gives the film industry something new to a kid’s movie. The Last Wish comes away with real-life lessons along the way by adapting to new perspectives and self-realization while also making and rebuilding relationships.
