Karson Roney, our fun, wild, and spirited 16-year-old, left this world to return to his loving Heavenly Father, leaving a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Born January 15th 2007, Karson passed away on November 15th 2023 as a result of a fatal seizure while tending to his beloved animals at his family’s barn.
Karson embraced life with a contagious sense of humor and kindness that left an indelible mark on the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. A true cowboy at heart, he had an unwavering love for riding horses, roping, working at the barn, and sharing his love for riding with all who would spend the time to listen. He especially loved sharing that passion with his 23 nieces and nephews who all thought he was in their words “the best uncle ever!”
Karson had a personality akin to a tornado, which brought with it a whirlwind of smiles, laughter, and unforgettable stories wherever he ventured. His magnetic personality was a force of nature, capable of lifting the heaviest hearts and brightening the darkest days. He effortlessly forged friendships with everyone he encountered, oftentimes connecting with individuals far beyond his own generation. He truly had a profound love for all those around him.
As the youngest of 12 siblings, he was adored by his brothers and sisters, relishing in laughter, teasing, wrestling, playing games, and just enjoying their company. His ability to poke fun and roast his siblings in a loving way became a cherished part of the family dynamic, leaving behind a legacy of funny stories and laughs that will be fondly remembered.
As we mourn the loss of Karson, let us remember the laughter he brought, the kindness he shared, and the bright cowboy spirit that defined his short time on this earth. May we find solace in the knowledge that we will see him again, as well as in the cherished memories he leaves behind and honor his legacy by embracing the joy and adventure that Karson found in every moment.
