The twin brothers, Timpview juniors’, Jaron and Kennan Pula will not be playing for Timpview football in the 2025-2026 season as they plan on transferring to Lone Peak. The Pula twins were key contributors to the team and especially at the State Championship. Jaron led the team this year in receptions and receiving yards, with 77 receptions, 1,209 yards, and 8 touchdowns. Keenan, who was injured for part of the season, finished with 16 receptions, 332 yards, and 1 touchdown. Throughout their careers at Timpview, they had a combined 2,509 yards and 22 touchdowns. Additionally, the twins are committed to play at UCLA when they start college after their graduation in 2026.
The safety and running back, Aisea Galea’i, on the twins departure said, “I’m sad they are leaving, but they need to do whatever is best for them. They will always be my friend. The team will miss them, but we’ll be fine.”
With this move, all four of Timpview’s starting wide receivers will no longer be a part of the wide-out group. The departure of the twins, along with the move of Dennis Tua’one to Quarterback and the graduation of Zed Ambrosio. Because of these moves, Braxton Wilkerson is intending on making the move back to wide receiver after playing corner back for a year. Wilkerson has lots of valuable varsity experience and his switch within the team will be vital.
We wish Jaron and Kennan Pula the best of luck at Lone Peak with their football careers, and hope that Timpview will be able to continue the success that they brought to the wide receiver position.
