    What+is+the+best+Halloween+candy%3F

The most popular Halloween candy in 2023 is Snickers, Snickers were created in 1930, and Fred and Ethel Mars owned a Tennessee farm that was called Milkey Way Farm. The Milkey Way Farm was used to breed racehorses. Ethel’s favorite racehorse was named Snickers, two months before their new candy bar was released the horse died, and decided to name the candy after the beloved horse. Hershey’s was invented in the 1890’s, Hershey traveled to Switzerland and created silky chocolate. In his lab, he was able to develop the product for himself and created the popular candy that we all still love and use today. Sour Patch Kids were created in the 1970s, Frank Galatolie created them using Malic acid which is found in fruits, and tartaric acid, they both were used as main components to create the sour taste. The Skittles were created in 1974 and were produced in the U.K. and landed in the U.S. in 1979. Their main slogan was “Taste the Rainbow” and helped the candy beam in popularity. When Hershey was being supplied chocolate to soldiers, they wanted to prevent the chocolate from melting so they decided to add a coating to prevent the chocolate from melting. This coating with the chocolate candy became known as M&M’s. Halloween is celebrated at Timpveiw High School which means that candy will be involved. I was able to interview many Timpview students to find the most popular candy. I asked over 20 students what their favorite candy was. The top or most popular candy was M&M’s, with 31 percent, then Sour Patch Kids and M&M’s were tied in second place both with 27 percent. Then in fourth place was Skittles with 9 percent and the least liked Halloween candy was Hershey with only 4 percent of people voting for it. So overall people liked Snickers as the best Halloween candy.
