Yesterday, December 14, Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Reiner were killed in their Los Angeles home. LAPD officers arrived at the house at around 3:40 PM, where they confirmed that the couple were victims of a homicide. Later that day, LAPD officers arrested Nick Reiner, the couple’s 32 year-old son, under the suspicion of homicide.
In a new statement on Monday, the LAPD affirmed that Nick Reiner is “responsible” for the death of his parents. However, authorities have not released any information on how they determined Nick Reiner’s guilt or details surrounding the crime itself.
Rob Reiner was a notable person in the world of Hollywood, directing several classic films such as Misery, Stand By Me, A Few Good Men, This Is Spinal Tap, Spinal Tap 2, The Princess Bride and When Harry Met Sally.
