Senior Dinner Dance is a Last “Hurrah” event for the class of 2026. This event was a long-standing tradition for Timpview back in the day, and this year our Senior Class President, Amaya Tolman, worked with admin to bring it back. This is a senior only event, so we can have a final moment all together without being intruded by other grades. This is a time to say sweet goodbyes and breathe in our last moments together as a senior class. Some of the seniors have been going to school together since they were five years old, so a moment of reminiscing with each other will a bitter-sweet time…but mostly sweet. Whether you have known your classmates since you were kindergarten besties, or you have new friends from your time at Timpview, this is great time to get together, remember the good times and have beautiful closure on your time at Timpview.
The next time you will have an event with solely the class of 2026 to reminisce at a time like this will be at your class reunion YEARS from now. Why wait to sign up? This is a time for saying heartfelt goodbyes, building bridges and tying a ribbon on high school. Graduation and the festivities are coming in hot, so having the opportunity to slow down and take it in before it’s gone is truly exciting and a unique opportunity.
This is also a great chance to get dressed up and take pictures! This is THE opportunity to add another post to your Instagram page, or get more content for your Senior year recap post. Maybe not the social media type? This event costs $5 for dinner AND a dance, so you would be saving money on a night out! A special thank you goes to the Smith family for sponsoring dinner, because you can’t find a deal like that anywhere else.
Whether or not you are going for any of these reasons above, you won’t regret seeing your classmates of ’26 again because this is all over soon. This is a time you will never get back to, so I recommend you jump at the chance! Even the stars of High School Musical are jealous of this chance as well.
