Timpview’s defense, anchored by goalkeeper senior Claire Burningham (#1), proved critical in maintaining their lead. Burningham blocked several Cedar Valley attempts, frustrating their attackers and preserving the clean sheet.
With just 1:26 remaining in the game, Timpview’s sophomore Ava Badger (#16) sealed the win, scoring the second and final goal for the Thunderbirds, sending the home crowd into celebration as they closed out their 2-0 win.
The victory marks a fitting end to the regular season for Timpview, who honored their seniors with a hard-fought, memorable performance on their home field.
