The Timpview Thunderbirds will go up against the Bingham Miners in the first game of the season on Tuesday (Nov. 18) at 7 pm at Bingham High School.
The Thunderbirds come into the game ranked 17th in the country and looking to have a great year. They come with a roster full of seniors led by Dean Rueckert and Will Openshaw who have recently signed to BYU. The Thunderbirds will be missing two huge contributors in Guards Mason Ford and Jackson Palmer due to injury. They will be backed up by sophomore Jackson Ford and junior Taj Taylor.
The Miners come into the game ranked 5th in Utah. The Miners are led by seniors Luke West and Parker Sneaker. Luke led the Miners last year in points, averaging 18.7 points per game. Parker follows Luke, averaging 11.2 points per game.
This match up is sure to bring some fireworks from both sides and should be a good watch for all who tune in.
