The Timpview T-Birds came up short against the Wasatch Wasps on Tuesday night. Falling 44–29. But the box score didn’t fully capture the competitive stretches and growth shown throughout the game. Despite the loss, Timpview continued to show signs of progress, as they worked to find their rhythm through the middle of the season.
Offensively, the T-Birds struggled to find consistency, but there were positive moments. Moments built off effort and ball movement. Timpview did its best work throughout the 4th quarter. Creating scoring chances through hustle plays and second efforts. While shots didn’t always fall, the team’s willingness to share the ball and look for open teammates reflected a growing trust on the offensive end.
Defensively, Timpview brought energy and toughness, especially in the second half. The T-Birds worked to pressure the ball, contest shots, and limit easy looks. Forcing Wasatch into several difficult possessions. However, the Wasps capitalized on rebounds and timely buckets. Gradually extending their lead as the game went on. Still, Timpview’s communication showed noticeable improvement compared to earlier outings.
Though the win column hasn’t shifted yet, the T-Birds continue to build towards better days ahead. With continued focus on finishing possessions and converting scoring opportunities, Timpview remains confident that their hard work will translate into results as the season moves forward.
