The Timpview Boys Basketball team will take on the Pleasant Grove Vikings at Pleasant Grove, Friday, January 30th at 7 o’clock.

The Thunderbirds are entering the game with a devastating 56-57 loss to the Layton Christian Academy Eagles. The Thunderbirds are now 16-2 on the season and are looking to stay undefeated in region against the Vikings. Dean Rueckert is the star for the Thunderbirds. Averaging 21 points per game along with 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Seniors Will Openshaw and Mason Ford back Dean up in the scoring. Will is averaging 13 points per game and Mason is averaging 9 PPG. The Thunderbirds are sure to come into this game a little angry coming off of a loss.

The Pleasant Grove Vikings are looking for another win after a recent 77-55 victory over the Maple Mountain Eagles. The Vikings are 10-9 on the season and looking to climb the standings in region. Brennan Blackett, Jaxon Brown, and Preston White are the scoring contributors for the Vikings. Brennan Blackett averages 13 points per game and is closely followed by Jackson and Preston who both average 10 PPG.

This is sure to be a good matchup with exciting moments and lots of points scored.
