Coming off an incredibly competitive season, the Timpview High School cheer team has officially qualified for Cheer Nationals. This milestone follows their standout performance at the USA Summer Camp in July 2025, where the squad secured their bid through various evaluations. Under the leadership of 5A Coach of the Year Zoe Hale, the team is aiming to replicate the high-level execution that earned them multiple top honors in recent years.
The team will travel to the Anaheim Convention Center in California to compete from February 19-21. Their schedule features three different performance categories:
- Show Cheer: A more complex routine, combining high-energy cheering with a dance segment.
- Band Chant: A precision-focused dance performed exclusively to band music.
- Situational Sideline: A category where judges present a random football game scenario, requiring teams to deliver an immediate, synchronized response.
The T-Birds entered this year’s competition as defending champions for their division in the Situational Sideline cheer. Beyond the mat, the trip serves as a major team bonding event, with the squad looking forward to returning to Disneyland- a traditional highlight that remains a unanimous favorite for the athletes.
