Get to know the hard work behind Football and Basketball. Most people only notice what happens on the field or the court. But anyone who’s around Timpview Sports knows there’s someone behind the scenes making sure everything runs the way it should: senior Memphis Carr, the team manager for both football and basketball.

Memphis shows up, works hard and does all the little things that players and coaches rely on. During football season, she organized equipment, got water ready, and helped wherever she was needed. She is always moving, always paying attention, and making sure the team has what it needs.

When the season changes and basketball starts, she switches right into a different gear. She helps with doing tasks  during practice. She makes sure we have equipment for away games and takes stats for the game. But what really makes Memphis stand out is her attitude. She’s positive, ready to work and shows up.

A lot of people don’t realize how important a good manager is until they don’t have one. Memphis keeps both teams running smoothly, and she does it without needing any spotlight. She cares about the teams and the players, and takes pride in doing her job well. She may not be on the stat sheet, but both football and basketball run better because she’s there.
