As of January 6th, 2026, which is the day that students get back from winter break, the parking situation and main entrance of Timpview will change. Principal Momilani Tu’Ua sent out an email saying the following “Due to new construction, our parking will change when you return to Timpview on January 6th. The brand-new parking lot and the main entrance to the school will be permanently closed. The new main entrance will be along the south hallway of the auditorium.” You know what that means: back to parking on Timpview Drive. You’d better hope you’re locked in on parallel parking, because there is going to be a lot more of that in the near future.

With the new main entrance, some parents are worried about security, but Principal Momilani Tu’Ua responds to this by saying “The school will remain secure, as all visitors will not be able to access it until they check in at the main office.”

Trying to understand the parking situation at Timpview is harder than keeping up with the Kardashians, but hopefully this change will get us one step closer to being done with our school’s remodel.
