Are you guys sick of me yet? Your girl is back with another dance preview for our second and final girls-ask dance of the year.

This year’s MORP will be held March 7th at Timpview from 8 – 10 PM, its exact location within Timpview has yet to be announced so be on the lookout for parking information as it becomes available.

In honor of the new live-action Tangled movie currently in production, the theme of this year’s MORP is Tangled. Florals, gold, lanterns, and of course, purple.

Tickets, as always, will go on sale the Monday before the dance. They will be available to purchase beginning March 2nd and cannot be purchased during class time, even if you don’t have a class that period. Students and their dates will need to be in the yellow or green for attendance to purchase tickets.

I know I talk to the girlies every time I write a dance preview, no matter if it’s a girls-ask dance or not, but this time it feels especially appropriate. It seems everyone is back on the asking early train (which begs the question of if we might be the early ask culprits) but don’t feel pressured to rush. Remember that it’s never quite as serious as we make it out to be, and that goes both ways. Don’t be afraid to ask out your very own Flynn Rider, but don’t be afraid to just ask a friend either, a Pascal if you will (don’t come at me, I know he’s a chameleon and I just made it weird).

Regardless of your choice of dance partner, MORP will be a great time, a nice break before we enter what is quite possibly the most stressful and work heavy month of the school year. It’s like what Flynn Rider says, “And for that one moment, everything was perfect… And then that moment ended.” Let MORP be your perfect moment.
