Not every musician is lucky enough to get fans like Taylor Swift. Her fans are dedicated and very involved in her life. When Taylor Swift posted on Instagram about registering to vote, within the next hour, Vote.org reported a spike of 1,226% registrants. The Swifties are serious about Taylor Swift and keep track of her in every way.

Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour started earlier this year in March after her latest album “Midnights” was released. The tour has been a huge success with an 80% spike in her music streams and a projected gross profit of 2.2 billion from domestic sales alone. And as if she wasn’t reaching enough fans through the tour, she released a movie of her concert in theaters this past week. 

Not only are the fans following her music, but they follow her personal life. Swifties know where she grew up, where she has houses now, how many cats she has, and the story of every boyfriend she has had since a teenager. We know about many of her past boyfriends from songs she has written, but also Swifties keep posted on her every move. 

In early April of 2023, Entertainment Tonight announced that Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn had officially broken up. This was the end of their six-year relationship. The world mourned with her but they didn’t mourn the brilliant songs she gave them about their relationship. There are said to be 29 songs about him.

There has also been a 400% increase in Chief’s jersey sales. Besides the rise in merchandise and a 43% increase in ticket sales, the internet has latched onto this relationship from day one.
