Today (Nov. 20), The Kid LAROI announced his second studio album, BEFORE I FORGET, set to be released on  January 9, 2026. Along with the announcement, he dropped A PERFECT WORLD as a single that will be part of the 15 track album, along with A COLD PLAY, which was released in early September and has collected over 40 million streams on Spotify.

Fans spent the morning excitedly waiting after Laroi teased that big news was coming. Many fans speculated that he would either release the single or announce the album, but as a surprise he did both. Laroi had delayed the album multiple times, and even scrapped the first idea of the project after his breakup with singer Tate McRae. Sharing the new project on social media, Laroi said “it’s my favorite thing I’ve ever made.”

Along with the single release and announcement of the album, pre-orders started for a signed CD of BEFORE I FORGET. The Kid LAROI fan base is getting a sweet treat after waiting more than two years since the last album was released.

This project is different from Laroi’s last, as in the past many of his songs were leaked and fans have been unhappy knowing almost the entire track list before the album was released. Laroi promised things would change, and he would only tease songs that he was actually going to release. He did not disappoint.

Fans now anxiously wait for January, hoping he drops more singles before the full album arrives.
