Camp Flog Gnaw is an annual music festival and carnival created by the artist Tyler, the Creator. Held at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, the two-day event featured a curated lineup of hip-hop, alternative, and R&B artists alongside a variety of carnival rides, games, and art installations.
The 2025 Camp Flog Gnaw Festival, held in November, featured headlining performances by artists Tyler, the Creator, Childish Gambino, and A$AP Rocky. All three of these artists are renowned for their creative sounds in the world of hip-hop. Other notable artists included a diverse range of hip-hop, R&B, and alternative artists: 2 Chainz & Larry June, Clipse (Pusha T and Malice), Doechii, Earl Sweatshirt, along with other Odd Future alumni Domo Genesis, Left Brain, and Mike G, GloRilla, T-Pain Thundercat, Geezer (A group containing Dominic Fike and Kevin Abstract) and Blood Orange.
The festival had many highlights, including one of Childish Gambino’s final performances, making it an amazing historical experience. He played many of his hits, including “3005”, “Redbone”, and “Lithonia”, as well as an unreleased song “Do Ya Like”, which surprised many of his fans. He also covered songs like “Prototype” by Outkast and “Give you the World” by Steve Lacy. Gambino had a perfectly performed set that left fans wishing they could see it again.
Other highlights include Tyler, The Creator’s performance of songs from his new album “Don’t Tap the Glass,” ASAP Rocky’s entrance on a helicopter, and Tyler’s performance of songs like “Who Dat Boy” and “Potato Salad.” The festival also had an exhibition for the late rapper and songwriter Mac Miller, which included photo prints of Mac and an art exhibition where festival-goers could pay their respects to the artist.
Overall, Flog Gnaw was a total success. Music fans from all over came together to listen and dance to the artists they love, as well as enjoy rides and attractions with loads of merchandise. Big artists alongside upcoming artists were able to share a stage, and create a fun and musical environment for thousands of people to enjoy. I would definitely suggest going to this festival at least once in your lifetime.
