The Weekly Review: Maxi Skirts

About: Maxi skirts (ankle length) were considered out of style for many years. They have miraculously made a comeback, as they have been seen on many girls around the world in the last several months. Denim maxi skirts have especially taken the fashion world by storm. Celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, and Kate Hudson have been seen wearing their maxi skirts around town.

Pros VS. Cons: I, personally, own a denim maxi skirt and have found both pros and cons to each. Pros are, it is super cute and I get lots of compliments on it whenever I wear it! Also, it elevates any outfit with just a plain T-shirt and some tennis shoes. You can dress it up or down. A con is, depending on the skirt that you buy, some of them are not stretchy and can make it a little bit hard to do normal daily activities; like walking, getting in a car, and walking up some stairs.

Personal Opinion: I absolutely love maxi skirts, denim or not. I think they are so cute and charming in every scenario, and they pair well with about any top and shoes. I highly recommend buying one, I don’t think you will ever regret it!
