    The Weekly Review: Lonely Ghost

About: Lonely Ghost has taken over Utah teenagers over the past few years. Indy Blue, a social media influencer, started a clothing brand called Lonely Ghost in 2019. Already having a large following on Instagram, this business took off very quickly. It is advertised as “streetwear” when really it is a lot of trendy hoodies, t-shirts, sweatpants, hats, and small things like stickers or lighters. In about 2020, there was an in-person store put into The Shops at Riverwoods in Provo, Utah. This was when we started really seeing Lonely Ghost everywhere, even in different states around the United States.

Pros VS. Cons: Some pros can be, all of the clothing sold from Lonely Ghost is very comfortable to wear and can be very versatile. The items can be dressed up or dressed down, and that is something you would always want in your closet. Some cons for some people can be that, a lot of people have Lonely Ghost gear, and the pieces may not be the most unique parts of an outfit. This may not be an issue for everyone, to each their own! I just do know that some people think of that factor when buying clothing.

Personal Opinion: At the peak of Lonely Ghost, I myself had a hoodie and a t-shirt. Now, I don’t really wear them at all for the sole reason that every single person has them. I think some of the designs can be cool, but ultimately, in my opinion, Lonely Ghost is overrated.
